The Appraisal Institute of Canada is seeking submissions for presentations at the 2021 AIC Virtual Conference. The theme for this event is\u00a0\u201cThriving in Times of Change\u201d<\/strong>. This landmark event will be hosted by the Appraisal Institute of Canada and attended by hundreds of AIC members, affiliates and partners. AIC is requesting relevant and engaging presentations that will be of interest to Members within one or more of the following audiences:
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0RESIDENTIAL
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0NON-RESIDENTIAL
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0FEE
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0NON-FEE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Presentations should be approximately 45 minutes in duration, with an additional 15 minutes for discussion and questions with participants. Real estate or valuation trends, appraisal techniques, unique case studies, advances in technology, or successful business practices are a few examples of topics of interest. All presentations will be made in English.<\/p>\n

All submission forms should include:

\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Presenter (s) name, title and organization
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Target audience
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Synopsis of presentation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Format of presentation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Short bio of all presenters
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Locations previously presented<\/p>\n

Please\u00a0download the\u00a0Submission Form<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to submit your proposed topic. All applications must be submitted using the form and sent to\u00a0conference@aicanada.ca<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a05:00 pm EST January 31, 2021<\/strong><\/u>.<\/p>\n

Additional information for your consideration:
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Each session is scheduled to last 1 hour.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Only one application should be submitted for each proposed presentation.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Presenters will receive a $100 honorarium.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0All submissions must be received by\u00a05:00 pm EST January 31, 2021<\/strong><\/u>. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Presenters will be notified by February 15, 2021 whether their presentation has been accepted or not.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Promotion of selected speakers will be substantial including on\u00a0AIC\u2019s website, social media channels, publications and collateral material.<\/p>\n
