Job Description:

Well established (40+ year) valuation firm located on Vancouver Island, BC. 

We are seeking an individual to join our team to assist in providing appraisal and consulting assignments throughout the west coast region of the province. 

This is a full-time position and we are looking for the right individual to grow with our firm.  The position is available due to both an expanding clientele and pending retirement of one of our key team members. 


·         Completion of or assistance in valuation and consulting assignments in a wide mixture of commercial, industrial and residential sectors throughout the Vancouver Island and coastal regions;   

·         Work to effectively support client relationships;

·         Assist in maintaining databases;


Required Competencies and Qualifications:

The successful applicant will view valuation as a passion and be career oriented.  This is not just a job for you.   Required attributes are: 

  • University degree in a related discipline;
  • Designation through the Appraisal Institute of Canada or eligible to become (or already enrolled as) candidate member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada;
  • Good research, quantitative and analytical skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Word and Excel;
  • Good communication skills – interpersonal, report writing;
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently;
  • Knowledge of property valuation methodologies, techniques, and review practices;
  • Ability to travel within the region (valid driver’s license).
