DIRECTOR – FULL TIME PERMANENT

MONTREAL OR QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC

We are currently recruiting for a high performing Director (Bilingual) in Quebec. The successful applicant will be located in an area within close proximity to Montreal or Quebec City. You will report to the Managing Director, Private Sector located in Vancouver, BC and work closely with the Managing Director, Real Property in Saskatoon, SK.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In collaboration with the Managing Directors, you will provide three service types: Real Property Appraisals, Cost Estimate Reports, and Reserve Fund Studies, in the Quebec region. This includes: Real Property Appraisal Services on a wide variety of ICI-type properties; Cost Estimate (Insurance Appraisal) Reports on buildings and improvements to assist clients with obtaining property insurance coverage; and Reserve Fund Study Reports on condominiums in compliance with Provincial legislation and regulations.

Working with our Business Development team, you will assist in identifying opportunities and building a market presence within the Quebec region.

You will complete reports and services in both French and English.

You have strong leadership skills and enjoy training and mentoring others. You are able and willing to travel regionally, and on occasion nationally.

You have the following credentials:

  -  Full proficiency in reading, writing, and oral interactions in both English and French.

  -  Must hold either the É.A. (Ordre des évaluateurs agréés du Québec) or the AACI (Appraisal Institute of Canada) professional designation.

  -  Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architectural Technologies, Economics, or Business is considered an asset.

  -  A combination of education, designation(s) and experience will be considered.

  -  Minimum of 10 years’ experience providing Real Property Appraisals on ICI-type properties, Cost Estimates (Insurance Appraisals), or Reserve Fund Study Reports, in the Quebec market.

  -  Demonstrated working knowledge of Provincial legislation and regulations regarding Cost Estimates (Insurance Appraisals) and Reserve Fund Study services in Quebec.

  -  Some relevant experience with marketing or business development is an asset.
