Antec Appraisal Group (Antec) is a leader in real estate valuation and consulting services and delivers a broad range of valuation, consulting and property tax services to our clients.  With offices in Burlington, Peterborough, Port Perry, Toronto and Waterloo, Antec serves the GTA, South, Central and Eastern Ontario areas.  

We are seeking a Junior Real Estate Appraiser position for our Burlington, Ontario office.  General tasks involved will include:

Tasks involved will include preparing appraisal reports, developing cash flow projections,  conducting research, and performing property and building inspections.  The preferred candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:  University degree in a related discipline (Business, Geography, Urban Development, Planning, etc.), eligible to become (or already enrolled as) a Candidate Member with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.,  Maintain Candidate status in good standing.  Candidates must meet the minimum annual educational requirements as specified by AIC (course fees included in compensation).      

Related work or co-op experience is helpful.  The candidate will possess skills that good research, quantitative and analytical skills, good communication skills including interpersonal skills and report writing skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Word and Excel is required.  Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team and independently, ability to take initiative and be resourceful, ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines, be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity, honesty and ethics are required.    The ability to travel locally, have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
