The Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) has established a policy which defines the number of candidates for which a designated member can co-sign appraisal reports. The primary aims of the policy are: to protect the public by ensuring that designated members appropriately supervise the work of inexperienced, non-designated members of the Institute; and to help make the candidate’s applied learning experience as relevant as possible as they move towards designation. Candidates are encouraged to verify that they have been added to the registry by the designated member that has agreed to cosign their reports. In the fields below, enter the last names of the designated member and the candidate. The search results which appear on the next screen show all of the names that match those entered. The names listed in the gray column are the designated members, while those in the blue column are (or at some point were) candidates who would have required a cosigner at that time.
