AIC 101 is a self-paced asynchronous online course delivered by Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) national staff and members, and administrated by the University of British Columbia (UBC). It provides an overview of the appraisal profession as well as important information that Candidate Members need to know as they progress through their designation. It outlines the AIC’s requirements for either a CRA or AACI designation and introduces important elements of the Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (CUSPAP) to effectively guide Candidate Members through their applied experience requirements.
Individuals seeking to join the AIC as a Student Member must complete AIC 101
Completing AIC 102: Introduction to Professional Practice (ITPP) is a prerequisite for applying for Candidate Membership at the AIC. Administered by UBC, AIC 102 is available in English and French.
Individuals seeking to join the AIC as Candidate Members must complete the AIC 101 and 102 before submitting their application for Candidacy.
