The Appraisal Institute of Canada – Newfoundland and Labrador (AIC-NL) is a provincial association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC). AIC-NL represents approximately 90 members and delivers AIC’s member programs and services within both Newfoundland and Labrador.
AIC-NL’s objective is to serve the profession and the public by implementing policies and programs to ensure the appraisal profession is advanced and the public is protected.

NL-AIC – 2020-2021
You are currently in the 2020-2021 cycle which means that you must have completed your 24 CPD credits by DECEMBER 31, 2021, which includes the PPS.
- The deadline for the English PPS is June 30, 2021 (UBC) and
CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE ENGLISH PPS ON THE UBC WEBSITE - the French PPS, (because the launch happened on October 1, 2020) is due September 30 2021 (uLaval).
- The PPS is 7 credits.
- Because of COVID-19 restrictions, there are currently no in-person PPS’ scheduled for the near future.
The 2020 PPS consists of 4 Video-recorded interactive Modules:
- Changes to CUSPAP,
- Insurance,
- Complaint Resolution; and
- AIC Regulations
At the end of each module, the participant will complete a 10 multiple choice question quiz. Failing the module quiz, will mean an additional fee to rewrite the quiz!
The registration fee is $345 plus tax.

Did you know that there is a mandatory course that all co-signers must complete in order to continue to co-sign?
The course must be completed by July 1, 2021.
