Residential Appraiser (CRA)
Location: Fredericton, NB
We are a well-established real estate appraisal firm based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, proudly serving the region since 1973. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct residential property appraisals for financing, litigation, estate, and advisory purposes
- Complete property inspections and collect relevant market data
- Analyze comparable sales, market trends, and neighbourhood characteristics
- Prepare clear, concise, and defensible appraisal reports in compliance with Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders
- Manage workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- CRA designation (or candidate working toward designation) with the Appraisal Institute of Canada
- Strong analytical, research, and report writing skills
- Knowledge of the Fredericton and surrounding area real estate market
- Proficiency with appraisal software and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
