PLEASE NOTE: Under the Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Practice (CUSPAP) , CRA members must use that designation in connection with the appraisal, review or consulting on individual undeveloped residential dwelling sites and of dwellings containing not more than four (4) self-contained family housing units.  Where a CRA Member signs a report beyond their scope of work, it must be co-signed by an AACI.

Under CUSPAP, prior to accepting an assignment or entering into an agreement to perform any assignment, an appraiser must have the knowledge and experience to complete the assignment competently, alternatively, take all steps necessary or appropriate to complete the assignment competently.

Working solely as an independent fee appraiser since 1978, Bill has extensive appraisal and consulting experience encompassing a broad spectrum of residential, commercial and industrial real estate. While focused primarily on the island portion of the province, he has been involved in several assignments in Labrador and Nova Scotia. He has presented technical reports and expert testimony before all levels of court and has developed sound expertise in real estate expropriation and arbitration matters. As a consultant, Bill has provided advice on a number of special purpose projects including: due diligence, lease renewals, and long term office/warehouse accommodation studies. Bill has traveled the province extensively performing property assessment reviews/appeals achieving substantial tax savings for numerous local, national and regional clients.
