PLEASE NOTE: Under the Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Practice (CUSPAP) , CRA members must use that designation in connection with the appraisal, review or consulting on individual undeveloped residential dwelling sites and of dwellings containing not more than four (4) self-contained family housing units.  Where a CRA Member signs a report beyond their scope of work, it must be co-signed by an AACI.

Under CUSPAP, prior to accepting an assignment or entering into an agreement to perform any assignment, an appraiser must have the knowledge and experience to complete the assignment competently, alternatively, take all steps necessary or appropriate to complete the assignment competently.

Oliver has been active in the real estate industry as a valuation professional since 2006. Oliver works throughout Canada on appraisal and consulting reports on a wide variety of real estate types. Oliver has in the past worked with numerous governmental and institutional organizations. Oliver has more than 8 years’ experience He is extremely proficient in the use of all three approaches to value (Direct Comparison, Income and Cost) having applied these both to residential and commercial type properties, with experience completing real estate analysis in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan Ontario and Quebec. Oliver has extensive expertise in appraisal review having assisted numerous clients and law firms in legal conflict and litigation matters. He has broad expertise in various real estate analysis techniques including: highest and best use analysis, cost benefit analysis, site selection analysis and feasibility studies. He has completed valuations and feasibility analyses on numerous large multi-use proposed land development projects throughout the country. Oliver is an expert in numerous real estate financial analysis techniques including Discounted Cash Flow and Direct Capitalization Techniques. Oliver is a certified expert witness in the field of real estate appraisal and has ample experience completing report for foreclosure and other legal purposes.
