Job Description:
Qualifications:
• AACI-designated member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada, in good standing.
• Experienced candidate members who are actively pursuing the AACI-designation.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in real estate appraisal or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Requirements:
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Well-developed organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications with a strong capacity for learning and integrating new technology.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle, as well as a willingness to travel within our service area.
• Fluency in English, including both written and oral.
Responsibilities:
• Produce detailed and accurate appraisal reports in accordance with the Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (CUSPAP).
• Maintain correspondence across multiple computer applications and appraisal software platforms.
• Foster productive collaboration with colleagues, service providers, and key stakeholders.
• Engage in professional and effective communication using various communication methods.
This opportunity is located in Kingston, with the potential for a hybrid work model.
Renumeration for independent contractors is commission-based and negotiable, depending on experience, education, and professional designation.
