ABOUT RIDGEPOINT APPRAISALS
Ridgepoint Appraisals is an established real estate appraisal firm serving the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding communities. We provide residential appraisal services to lenders, legal professionals, and private clients, with a strong focus on accuracy, defensibility, and professional service and speed.
We are currently expanding and seeking one or two appraisers to join our team.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Real Estate Appraiser will complete residential appraisal assignments primarily in Oakville, Burlington, Milton, and Brampton. Additional markets may be assigned as needed.
This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines. Work volumes can fluctuate. The successful candidate must be adaptable and capable of maintaining quality and consistency during busy periods.
Candidates at all experience levels are welcome to apply, including trainees/candidates and fully designated members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
⦁ Conduct residential property inspections
⦁ Research, collect, and verify market data
⦁ Prepare appraisal reports in compliance with CUSPAP standards
⦁ Meet established turnaround time expectations
⦁ Manage multiple assignments simultaneously
⦁ Communicate professionally with lenders, brokers, homeowners, and Ridgepoint
⦁ Maintain accuracy, defensibility, and consistency in all reports
QUALIFICATIONS
⦁ Licensed or eligible for licensing as a real estate appraiser
⦁ Candidate Member (AIC) or CRA/AACI designation preferred but not required
⦁ Strong analytical and report-writing skills
⦁ Ability to work independently and manage workflow
⦁ Comfortable working in deadline-driven environments
⦁ Access to mls systems is preffered but not absolutely necessary
⦁ Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel within assigned territory
