Academic Requirements

The Appraisal Institute of Canada has partnered with Université Laval and the University of British Columbia to offer its unique program of study for Members pursuing the Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute (AACI™) and Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA™) professional designations. In 2018, AIC introduced its Candidate Checklist as a means of providing Candidates with an easy tool to track their progress. Your checklist can be accessed via the My Status tab of your Member Profile.

It is a Candidate’s responsibility to ensure that all information displayed on their checklist is accurate, and to contact the appropriate parties if they notice any mistakes

University of British Columbia

AIC’s program of study is offered in English through the University of British Columbia (UBC)’s Sauder School of Business. UBC’s courses are linked directly to the Candidate Checklist and will be updated as you complete your courses.

For questions concerning courses or admissions, please visit www.realestate.ubc.ca/AIC or call (604) 822-8457.

Université Laval

AIC’s program of study is offered in French through Université Laval’s Faculty of Business Administration (FSA ULaval). Please note that ULaval does not currently have direct access to our Candidate Checklist so courses must be logged in the same way as CPD credits.
