With over 20 years of experience in the banking sector and 13 years specializing in collateral valuation, I bring a strong mix of experience in both lending and real estate appraisal.

As a Senior Appraiser and Head of the Collateral Valuation Unit at ProCredit Bank, I managed the end-to-end appraisal process for commercial and residential properties. In this role, I regularly collaborated with loan officers, legal counsel, and external appraisal firms to ensure accurate valuations, compliance with internal standards, and alignment with international and regulatory requirements. However, my expertise extends well beyond appraisal work. Earlier in my career, I held roles as a Credit Analyst, Credit Manager, and Branch Manager. These experiences gave me deep, hands-on exposure to the full lending cycle, including financial statement analysis, credit risk assessment, decision-making and portfolio management. I played a key role in growing the branch loan portfolio while maintaining credit quality and managing risk.

In addition to my practical experience, I hold the Recognized European Valuer (REV TEGoVA) designation, which is directly aligned with the Canadian AACI standard in terms of professional equivalency and international recognition. To further align with Canadian appraisal practices, I am currently enrolled in the Post-Graduate Certificate in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) program at the UBC Sauder School of Business, where I have successfully completed BUSI 330 (Foundations of Real Estate Appraisal) and BUSI 112 (Real Property Law and Real Estate Ethics).
