The Appraisal Institute of Canada is governed by a Board of Directors comprising the Officers (President, President-Elect, two Vice-Presidents, and Secretary/Treasurer) as well as Directors elected by the membership based on member representation provincially.
The AIC Nominating Committee is responsible for presenting a slate of nominations for the AIC
Board of Directors to ensure the Institute is governed with excellence and vision. In order for the Nominating Committee to find the best candidates for the AIC Board, the Board has established guidelines that will support the Nominating Committee in fulfilling its mandate. Presidents are elected annually by the Board from among its number at the first regular meeting held following the Institute’s Annual General Meeting. The Secretary/Treasurer is appointed by the Board.
