BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The affairs of the Appraisal Institute of Canada – British Columbia (AIC – BC) are conducted by a Provincial Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of elected representatives from each of the regional chapters, plus two national representatives who sit on the Appraisal Institute of Canada's Board of Directors. All elected representatives on the Board of Directors must hold either the AACI or CRA designations of the AIC.

To select the national representatives, chapters make nominations from their membership. From the slate of nominees, representatives are then elected by the AIC – BC Board of Directors to sit on behalf of British Columbia as representatives on the National Board of Directors.

COMMITTEES
The Board of Directors recognizes the valuable role that committees have in the administration and advancement of the Institute.  All committees influence the goals, objectives and outcomes of the organization and receive their authority from and are accountable to the Board of Directors.

Each committee’s Terms of Reference sets out its structure, role and reporting functions.
