The 14 chapters of the Ontario Association of the Appraisal Institute of Canada hold a number of continuing professional development and social events throughout the year for both chapter members and non-members alike.

The AGM will review the Chapter’s budget, and determine who will be the forthcoming Oshawa-Durham Chapter Executive Committee members. In addition to the current positions, a Candidate member is requested to add their perspective to the Committee. In the event that more than two (2) nominations are received for a position, an election will be held at the AGM. The election shall be determined by secret ballot of the members present and entitled to vote. Contact one of the Executive Committee members to discuss time commitment and responsibilities. Each individual applying should be prepared to make a short presentation at the meeting outlining their objectives and what experience they can bring to the executive committee.

Nominations, along with the consent of the nominees, must be received in writing by February 3, 2013, to Tom Gifford, giffapp@rogers.com.
