The BBRE is a part-time program, delivered by distance education methods and is offered by both UBC and TRU. The program builds upon the foundation of the Diploma in Urban Land Economics or equivalent plus additional real estate, general education, business and elective courses. The real estate courses and several of the business courses are delivered by the Real Estate Division, while an agreement with TRU enables students to obtain the required general education and business courses by distance education. The curriculum has been developed in consultation with the real estate industry to ensure it meets the accreditation requirements of various professional associations, including the Appraisal Institute of Canada. For more details, visit www.realestate.ubc.ca/BBRE.
