The Program of Professional studies has been designed for highly-motivated people seeking to join the real property valuation profession as well as for valuation practitioners already employed in the industry who want to upgrade their education. Developed and delivered in partnership with the Real Estate Division of the Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia, the AIC Program of Professional Studies ensures that members proceeding to designation do so with the assurance of an educational foundation that prepares them to meet the ever changing demands of a multidisciplinary profession.

Individuals may commence their program of studies at any time but those wishing to join the Institute as a candidate member must meet specific entrance requirements for that category of membership, including a university degree.

The minimum entry requirement to the AIC Program or Professional Studies is graduation from high school at the university entrance level. See the University of British Columbia's Program Admission page for more details.
