Paula Malcolm-Schaller

Paula works and lives in the Ottawa area, operating her own appraisal company in the residential sector. She has spent the past 30 years devoted to client focused risk assessment. She has been appraising for the past 14 years with approximately 15 prior years in the banking industry. Paula joined the AIC in 2002 and obtained her CRA designation in 2006. From the start she has volunteered at various levels of the organization, beginning with the Ottawa Chapter Executive in the first few years then going on to serve in the position of Director representing the Ottawa and Kingston areas on the AIC-Ontario Board from 2008 to 2012. Paula has been a member of the Ontario Committee of Examiners and the Professional Competency Interview panel since November 2007. Volunteering on other committees, she has given a great deal of time to the AMC Task Force, the AMC Mortgage Fraud Task Force, and the Organizing Committee for the 2012 Conference. As a national Board Director, Paula previously served on AIC’s Education and Accreditation Committee and is now a member of the Communications Committee.
