About the Opportunity

We are seeking a self-driven, highly motivated, and experienced AACI Designated Appraiser to join our growing commercial valuation team. Our firm handles a diverse and consistent pipeline of commercial real estate assignments.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality, comprehensive narrative appraisal reports in compliance with CUSPAP standards. You will independently manage assignments while delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Core responsibilities include:
Conducting site inspections, market research, and data analysis for commercial properties.
Performing complex financial and valuation modeling.
Appraising a diverse portfolio of property types, which may include:
Office and Retail spaces
Industrial properties
Multi-family residential assets
Specialized properties such as gas stations and hotels
Expropriation assignments
Note: While exposure to all property types is highly valued, candidates with strong individual expertise in specific asset classes are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Communicating appraisal findings effectively to clients, lenders, and industry professionals.
Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established turnaround times.

Qualifications and Requirements

We are looking for a high-calibre appraiser who values precision and professional excellence.
Designation: AACI, P.App designation in good standing with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) is required.
Experience: Proven track record and demonstrated experience in commercial real estate valuation across various property types.
Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in appraisal software and Microsoft Office.
Attributes: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to tackle complex valuation challenges independently.
