National Quality Assurance Manager

Commercial & Residential Real Estate Operations

Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta | Full-Time | In-Office Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven National Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality assurance, operational consistency, training, and reviewer management across our commercial and residential real estate appraisal operations.

This senior leadership role is based at our Head Office in Sherwood Park and is responsible for building scalable quality systems, improving operational efficiencies, and supporting organizational productivity nationwide.

The successful candidate will bring strong real estate industry experience, proven leadership capabilities, and a passion for process improvement, accountability, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement nationwide training programs for new hires
  • Create onboarding systems that prepare team members to work independently
  • Build and manage reviewer/Appraiser Manager training programs
  • Develop educational materials, SOPs, templates, and reporting standards
  • Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives for commercial and residential appraisal reports
  • Conduct audits and reporting reviews to ensure consistency and compliance
  • Provide coaching and corrective feedback to Appraisers and Reviewers
  • Create quality ranking systems to support file allocation and performance management
  • Manage and support Reviewer/Appraiser Manager teams nationally
  • Improve workflows, efficiencies, and organizational productivity
  • Support operational growth through scalable processes and accountability systems
  • Assist with fee quoting and assignment support for appraisal files
  • Act as a senior escalation contact for quality and reporting matters

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in real estate, appraisal operations, valuation, lending, or related industries
  • Strong leadership and management experience
  • Proven ability to improve operational efficiencies and organizational productivity
  • Experience building systems, processes, training programs, or quality assurance initiatives
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and coaching skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Experience within commercial and/or residential appraisal environments considered an asset
  • Professional designation considered an asset, but not required
