Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be a motivated, detail‑oriented AIC Candidate Member pursuing their CRA/ AACI designation and looking to build a long‑term career in field of valuations appraisal. Responsibilities include:

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct residential property inspections independently and professionally.
• Prepare high‑quality, defensible appraisal reports aligned with AIC standards.
• Meet established turnaround times (majority of reports due by morning next business day, Mon–Sat)
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, lenders, and internal team members.
• Work efficiently from a home office and manage workflow with minimal supervision.
• Uphold Appraise Wise’s standards of accuracy, integrity, and client service.

Operational Expectations

• Be accessible between 8am–6pm, six days a week
• Maintain accurate monthly tracking of revenue and expenses (independent contractor model)
• Manage all costs associated with the role, including:
  • Smartphone, computer, and home office setup
  • Reliable vehicle and associated travel costs

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Current AIC Candidate Member in good standing
• Actively pursuing the CRA designation through AIC and Sauder School of Business
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to high‑quality reporting
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
