About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Designated Appraisers (CRA or AACI) and highly experienced Candidate Members of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC) to join our team. We are expanding our coverage and looking for professionals who are deeply familiar with the real estate markets in Barrie, Downtown GTA/Hamilton, Kitchener, and the Sudbury area.
Our firm offers a supportive, professional environment equipped with the systems, tools, and administrative support needed to succeed. Whether you are looking for a full-time role or a flexible contract position, we provide clear pathways for professional growth and competitive compensation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for independently managing appraisal assignments while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Core duties include:
•Conducting residential property inspections independently and professionally.
•Researching local market trends to help determine accurate property values.
•Preparing high-quality, defensible appraisal reports aligned with AIC standards.
•Meeting established turnaround times efficiently.
•Maintaining consistent, professional communication with clients, realtors, lenders, and internal team members.
•Working efficiently from a home office and managing workflow with minimal supervision.
Qualifications and Requirements
We are looking for driven individuals who are reliable and want to build a long-term career with strong income potential and flexibility.
•Designation: CRA or AACI designation in good standing with the AIC is highly preferred. Experienced Candidate Members actively pursuing their designation will also be considered.
•Lender Approval: Candidates who are RBC Approved are highly desired.
•Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the real estate markets in areas that are being appraised.
•Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent report writing abilities.
What We Offer
•Competitive Compensation: Attractive fee splits and fair compensation models, with bonus structures.
•Flexibility: Remote and hybrid work options with flexible scheduling and workload management.
•Support: Full administrative and technological support so you can focus on appraising.
•Growth: Opportunities to develop client relationships and grow with a collaborative team.
How to Apply
If you are driven, professional, and ready to take the next step in your appraisal career, we want to hear from you. Please apply in confidence by submitting your resume and a brief introduction outlining your coverage areas and current designation status.
We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
