Knight & Company Appraisals is a long established firm covering Edmonton and Northern Alberta. For over to 40 years, we have maintained a strict adherence to quality reports and continue to earn our client’s trust by providing accurate reports and meeting our client’s expectations.

We are currently looking for an Appraisal Institute of Canada CRA designated or candidate appraiser with minimum one year experience.  The qualified applicant must be a self starter, motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision, however, guidance will be made readily available from an AACI designated appraiser.

What is Expected

We are looking for a residential appraiser with the ability to appraise a variety of single and multi-family residential properties including acreage and rural recreational properties throughout the Edmonton region. Our office covers the North Central Alberta region within a 250 kilometre radius when required. The successful applicant will be servicing the Edmonton region as well as the western region including Whitecourt, Barrhead, Edson (when required) and Drayton Valley.

Are you the Ideal Candidate?

You will have strong analytical and computer skills and be familiar with Adobe and MS Office. Familiarity with Report PRO, RPS forms and NAS adobe forms would be an asset. You are self-directed and able to work both independently and as a part of a team. You are client-focused and committed to providing high quality client service to provide ON TIME, ACCURATE and CREDIBLE client service. The successful applicant must have a valid driver’s license, proper reliable transportation and be willing to travel outside the city. You are fully proficient in reading and writing English at a post secondary level. Proficiency in additional language(s) is an asset.

This is a full-time position on a sub-contract basis. The compensation for this position is commission based and will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and designation.
