2025 Keith Goodwin Award Recipient

The KEITH GOODWIN AWARD is presented annually by AIC-BC to recognize a designated member for outstanding service, leadership, achievement, education, or mentoring. The award is named after AIC-BC’s past Provincial and National president, Keith Goodwin, who personifies these attributes. The 2025 Keith Goodwin Award was announced by AIC-BC President, Andy Pham, P.App., AACI at the AIC-BC’s Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025.  AIC-BC is pleased to congratulate this year’s recipient, Iain Hyslop, P.App., AACI, on his accomplishment.

Iain J. Hyslop, P.App., AACI has been a respected leader in the appraisal profession for more than 40 years. Founder of Inland Appraisers Ltd., he built a distinguished practice specializing in complex commercial, litigation, and First Nations land valuation, and has been recognized as an expert witness in multiple provincial tribunals. A longtime volunteer with the Appraisal Institute of Canada and AIC-BC, Iain served as President of the AIC-BC Okanagan Chapter, chaired the AIC National Standards Committee, and is a senior member of the AIC Commercial Peer Review Panel. His contributions to appraisal through his published work and decades of mentorship reflect his lasting impact on the profession in British Columbia and across Canada.
